I’m so excited for this! I’ve already got the golden cap, golden hoodie, golden top hat and the gold star glasses from previous years and I really hope the skinny pants reward for this year are golden too! 
Btw I finally got the last “leaf hat” decor pikmin today! I’m soaking wet but totally worth it!
I’ve been saving up my planting accelerators and petals because the planting requirements to get the gold prize are intense, while trying to complete the other event stages going on in parallel.
Me too! 
I’ve got 12 accelerators by now.. I think it will be hopefully enough if I use them correctly!
I’m not interested in Mii costumes.
Also, with Pikmin Bloom Journey Seoul and Pokémon GO FEST Tokyo taking place during this period, I don’t have the time or energy to participate in the 4.5th Anniversary Community Week, so I’m going to completely skip it this time.
I have only been able to get the gold star glasses from the previous events. I’m sure I’ll be able to get the skinny pants though, I’ll certainly try! I’m sure they will be golden, maybe that means we’ll have gold shoes to look forward to for the next event? That’s awesome you got that final leaf hat, @WilliamL76, always so satisfying to complete collections.

I know that the Seoul and Tokyo are far from your place (I’m not sure where you live in but may be US?)
I live near Osaka in Japan, so going to Tokyo or Seoul is about the same in terms of time and cost, and I can easily go either way.

I want to see the aurora borealis with my own eyes before I die, so I hope to visit Scandinavia someday.

@lavista1960 yes we do get aurora borealis here but only in the north however I live in the south so I haven’t really seen them 
I believe the real appeal of location-based games lies in real-world events, so I try to participate in as many as possible in areas where I can (such as Japan and South Korea).
However, convincing my wife is quite difficult

@WilliamL76 That’s fast progress! I just started 4hrs ago, already used 2 accelerators. Finished the initial 5k tulips, almost done with #2 petunias. But now my anniversary planting tasks are conflicting with my stage 8 planting tasks 
@KippyPippy There’s 7 days to complete the event so really no rush
I completed the hard mission on Monday. I think I used about 7 planting accelerators. It took lot of steps too! Then I refocused on completing the game pak collection. In recovery mode now 
I thought you didn’t care about the clothing, but I guess you enjoy the challenge?
