Since the 3rd Community Week began on November 25th (Monday), it should have ended on December 1st at 23:59 (Sunday). Instead, it ended on November 30th (Saturday).
I assume this was an oversight since the 2nd Community Week lasted Monday through Sunday, as would be expected. The outcome of this bug is a bit disappointing since Thanksgiving week can be pretty busy for anyone travelling in the United States.
I agree with this. It was misleading to call it community week if it only lasted six days. I hope they will consider giving another opportunity to earn the 3rd anniversary badge in a future event or special mission.

Exactly! I lost the badge because of this mix-up, and I’m extremely upset. I’ve been playing the game since the beginning, and losing this badge because of a miscommunication is extremely frustrating. They should consider this and allow the badge to be obtained again!
Yes, but the name of the event was “community week”, which misled many players. It has to be admitted that there was a miscommunication. Like the OP, I was also harmed by this confusion!
