When I try to select pikmin, they’re greyed out and says they’re holding something, but when I go to the field view they aren’t on screen even after blowing the whistle. I can only claim by double tapping the whistle.

I have the same issue. Sometimes the pikmin is simply outside of the screen and you have to give it some time but other times there’s nothing I can do.
