When I tried to collect the gift from a flying pikmin, tapping on the gift causes the game world to just become unresponsive. The loading icon does not appear, the game just becomes unresponsive and the pikmins in the background continue moving. After about a minute, the sequence continues and you can hear all the sound effects play, but the camera and UI completely breaks and just shows an empty field. You are not able to progress anywhere from there and the game is effectively soft locked. You HAVE to shut down the game and restart it. When you reenter the game, the pikmin is completely gone.
