To motivate players to continue to the end of an event, how about adding some spinner wheel prizes such as:
Clothing shopping spree: pick one spinner-edition clothing item
Pick an Item selection: recharge ticket, battle horn, slot, etc
Event seedling of your choice.
Wild card: pick from the other shown prizes on the wheel.
These prizes are different because it genes the player some choice. They might be rare occurrences.

Maybe a different type of reward level like all golden seedlings or just a few recharge tickets and huge seedlings depending on the difficulty of the challenge?
