Question regarding reporting spoofers without a Player Name

I am writing to ask for guidance on how to deal with suspected GPS spoofing when the player’s name cannot be identified.

In my local area, I have observed flowers being planted in physically inaccessible locations, such as steep cliffs, rivers without bridges, and restricted railway tracks. It is clear that these actions are performed via location manipulation.

However, since I cannot see the player’s avatar or profile, I am unable to provide a specific Player Name.

I would like to receive an answer regarding the following:

1. Is it possible for the support team to investigate logs based solely on specific coordinates and timestamps if the player name is unknown?

2. What kind of evidence (e.g., photos of the physical site, screenshots of the flower map) is most effective for the team to take action in such cases?

3. Are there any plans to implement a feature that allows us to identify players planting flowers nearby more easily to help report such violations?

I believe that maintaining the integrity of location data is crucial for the game’s community. I look forward to your response on how I can best assist in this investigation.

Best regards,

What are the advantages with planting in these locations?

Less about the location, more about people being able to plant flowers in the 1000’s without moving anywhere i would assume

This is just a guess, but I suspect they’re using it as a substitute for a home video game console.

I’m not sure if you can play Pikmin Bloom on it, but then again, they’ve only just started selling wireless joystick controllers for PoGo.

It may sound ridiculous, but just as we’ve recently discovered that there are people all over the world who believe it’s acceptable to watch pirated manga and anime on X, there are far more people than we realize who think it’s forgivable to violate terms of service just to satisfy their own desires.
