How’s it going everybody? I’ve collected 5 instrument decor pikmins so far! Stage 3-4.

Stage 3-1. 3 pikmin. In addition to battling mushrooms, I’ve been battling mosquitoes 
. I might have to avoid evening walks, but my work schedule is making preferred early morning walks more difficult to do.
Today I’ve just cleared Stage 4-3, then completed the set of Tiny Instrument: Orchestra decor.
I have 15 Tiny Instrument: Orchestra decor pikmin.

While the fastest completion of the decor pikmin set was achieved at Stage 3-4 during the event held in December 2023, this current event marks the quickest completion since the introduction of ice pikmin.

Despite being close to the goal of the full collection, the last one is always a challenge for me. Recall I didn’t complete the previous collection until the very last day. Now, with only 11 (sprouted a giant seedling today) pikmin I feel like it will probably be 10+ more to go. I got another giant seedling on completion of 4-3, so maybe that will be the one

I was hoping that @lavista1960’s luck is contagious and I’d finish the set at 4-3 too

@WilliamL76 only 6 at stage 6-3? Your run of luck should be improving soon. I don’t feel particularly lucky in the roulette. But I’m pleased with my distribution. We need @lavista1960 to send us some of his leftover lucky vibes!
I went on my walk after lunch and it was hot and humid and I sweated a lot, so I ate one of my remaining salt candies from an old Japan trip. The best by date was February 2025 
The texture and taste was fine. I have some other minty hard salt candies that is best by 2024, and I’ll probably eat that too, unless it feels sticky when I open it. The salt acts as a preservative, right ?

The “best-before” date on Japanese food products indicates the period during which the food tastes its best, whereas the “use-by” date (safety limit) is often much later. Depending on the product, it may remain safe to eat for another one to two years beyond that date.

Completed Stage 7-4 with 18 Pikmin - statistically speaking, that’s “normal.”
Still working on achieving the double-completion since both white and feather Pikmin are required.
@pasorin your double completion goal is challenging but at least it gives you a stronger battle squad for next year’s event. I always release the duplicates due to lack of storage, so I usually don’t have a strong squad the following year, unless they grant boosts for multiple decor categories.
Many event pikmin are so cute that I wish I could keep them all and form entire squads of the same type.
