Hello, how is everyone else doing so far?
Stage 4-2, Color Event 3
9 powder pikmin, 5 distinct types.
I really like that the game is now giving a choice to pick from either the past decor collections or seasonal petals. It’s a good gesture for players who haven’t completed the past collections. I hope this choice option helps them complete their sets.
Don’t get me started on the seasonal flower offerings though…or the utility of the “seasonal” flowers in general. They are nice to look at, at the very least.
The color powder decor is vibrant and ornamental. I like the ornate metalwork. However I can’t help think of laundry and skin stains when I see the powder. Somebody told me that they slather on sunscreen to avoid staining their skin when they participate in the festival.
I’m struggling from the time change due to daylight savings time over here​
. Now I’m going to forget when mushrooms reset. And then I can never remember the UTC and other country time zone differences regardless of daylight savings or standard time.

Stage 6-3
Need white. Here’s my current distribution
Lately, I try to do large elemental mushroom battles during the first weeks of the event in order gain enough seasonal flowers like petunias, in order to complete the initial round of stages. The rewards are good if the team is large and not so good if team is just 5 members. I did a 4* regular water battle and didn’t get any blue petunias at all. Large blue water with many participants rewarded well. I also made a point of blooming some blue petunias with the blossoms I had on hand since I needed a bit more.
I was pleasantly surprised when the multiple choice event reward included an expedition drone, and then on another occasion rare nectar.

Purple mushrooms is always a good bet for blue freesia and petunia, at least for me.

On Stage 8-3, I’ve just completed the Color Powder decor set.
I will finish this month’s event after clearing Stage 8.

I have 24 color splash pikmin and still need white. In the process of sprouting 2 giant event seedlings. Hopefully get a white Pikmin soon!

30 color powder pikmin, still no white!

First time I’ve not found them all in a long while!
Edit. I’m putting all my hope in my 2 giant seedlings still growing.

Stage 11-1
My pikmin battled 3 mushrooms overnight allowing me to finish stage 10. I have one gold seedling…
The golden seedling was not white, so after completing 11-1 I spent my precious coins on the special mission ticket in order to get the white pikmin. I suppose I could have gambled on getting the pikmin next year as a returning pikmin reward.
Moving on to the next event!
I would probably have done the same thing.
My Super Mario Hat pikmin is getting lonely so I’m excited for the new Super Mario Keychain Decor Pikmins!
