I think it’s crazy that after taking almost 3 years to collect 500 decor Pikmin, there isn’t another badge until you get to 1500 Did there really need to be such a gigantic increase?

I think Niantic often creates goals that seem unattainable.
Currently there are not 1500 deco types so it is not possible to get a badge now.

Standard Niantic threshold increases. Look at how things are in Ingress and Pokemon GO and you’ll see the same crazy jumps.

I got my 300 in 4 months… and am headed to 500 but it does look daunting already.

but 1,500 after that!?
I mean 800 and 1000 look as good numbers to set up for the next badge tbh

Currently, 725 types of decor have been implemented.
So 1,500 is more than double. I agree with you that 800 or 1,000 is good number.
