Decor category color confusion

Hello, im a bit confused with the gray and gold colour on the decor catagorys, can someone explain these??

The gray seedling is stag beetle, which i already have, and the yellow one is an acorn seedling which I also already have, why is one gold and one gray??

Even if you obtain the seedlings, it doesn’t have any decor.

I know that these are basic seedlings, and need levelling up to friendship level 4 before i can unlock the decor, im asking why one is showing gold and one is gray but i already have both of these decors unlocked

The pictuer shows you don’t have yellow pikmin of Stag beetle decor. cause the seedlings is gray.

Yes but this yellow is Acorn not Stag beetle

Even though you already have the yellow acorn decor Pikmin it will show gray because yellow decor is incomplete for this category. Rock Pikmin you have both types so it is gold.

So if you got a yellow, blue, pink, or white forest seedling they would be gray, because you’re still missing one. The rest would be gold.

I haven’t found the ice ones yet, they’re so cute :heart_eyes:

I see, thankyou for the help with that, i feel like there shpuld be an inbetween color so that seedling can easily and quickly be identified by the icon, like silver or somthing

Definitely! I am looking for one last supermarket seedling so it would be nice to know at a glance if it’s the one I need. I also wish special seedlings/pikmin icons could change color when their collection is complete.
