Hello! I am a fan of Pikmin and lately I have found some users have been using tricks to dominate the Giant mushrooms using fake GPS+ weak pikmin and make the Giant mushrooms stay ‘alive’ during the weekdays.
- How the process is done
- “Bad” players make multiple “fake accounts” and during the weekends they use them to joint giant mushrooms using the ‘weakest’ pikmin.
- Since the pikmin is weak, it takes 5~10days to destroy the mushroom alone. So, if nobody joins the mushroom, this mushroom stays alive during the “weekdays.”
- Fake GPS is a must, since they have to “hide” these mushrooms from normal players.
- During weekdays, the main account is used and somehow they invite (using their specific rules, which are posted in the community ) and they invite those of their taste to destroy the mushroom.
- this creates giant -mushroom dominance, where powerful players seize “pretty and or giant” mushrooms and invites those who please their taste.
- I think this is against Niantic rules or game rules.
- It is happening quite common in Chinese? and Korean users. In Korea, they call “알박기” and it is used quite common, hindering normal players from fair gaming.
- Suggestion
I suggest the limitation of lifespan of the Giant mushroom up to 24 hours max. As a general rule, mushrooms are there to be destroyed by MANY diverse users and not by “selected few” who choose and invite players for their taste. Those who do this “알박기” is one of the main ways to gain lots of points compared to other sincere players and I think this is not fair.
If you limit the lifespan of the Giant mushroom, no matter what they do if one player joins the mushroom it should dissapear in 24h. Normal players would try hard to destroy these mushrooms, not just colonize them for weekday battle.
