Dear Support Team,
Please look into a serious issue regarding widespread GPS spoofing in Taiwan. There are numerous spoofing tools being actively used, including:
Furthermore, some users have set up dedicated LINE communities to share tutorials on spoofing location and intentionally disrupt local mushroom battles.
It’s the same over here in North America. Sounds like Europe too. I recommend keeping up the detailed posts (yours here is excellent). Additionally I have recently started writing to game news organizations (GameRant, etc) and trying to appeal to someone to speak up about this. The more of us doing things like that, the better.
It doesn’t seem like Scopely is even willing to acknowledge that there’s an issue. If we want something done about it, it looks like we have to go elsewhere.
I would also suggest reflecting these concerns in an app store review if you haven’t already. It’s exhausting and stupid that we have to do this, but here we are. Thanks for your time!
