This really has been annoying and the only way to fight back is to mess with the Big Flowers’ preconditions right after they turned into sprouts. Those “flower farmers” really hate having inconsistent big flower status or seeing non-white flowers planted around them. Saw a bunch of posts from them complaining red or yellow flower being planted at “their flower farms” and people messing up their Big flowers’ blooming time, statuses. So far, that’s the only method I can think of… Making the Big Flowers as unattractive and messy as possible to “protect” them being targeted as the spofers’ “flower farm”.
It sounds very stupid that we have to go out of the way to do these kind of stuff. But Niantic/now Scopely does nothing to ban those spoofers, we have to find our own ways to cope with it…
Shroom-wise… I guess being able to see the player names might help just a bit in reporting, it’s just a bit easier to track them down compared with the “flower farmers.”
