Beach mission 6
I already completed the coral set last year, and have all the ice cream, so am focusing on the surfboard decor.
I have 6 surfboard pikmin, need red and blue.
So far my favorite is the purple Pikmin’s shark board. I am amused that it still has a barcode sticker on the back. They are all cute!
The new bird’s eye view is nice, but now everyone else in my area can see the giant mushrooms too. Today, I saw one in walking distance, but by the time I got within range it was filled up. At least it got me out of the house because I was feeling lazy. I’ve seen several within easy driving distance, but I’m trying to avoid needlessly driving unless I’m doing an errand. It’s so tempting though…

I also completed coral decor set last year therefor I don’t crush Seafoam Mushroom.
Have 8 surfboard decor pikmin and waiting for yellow and winged.
On Stage 5-4, I’ve just completed Surfboard decor set.
I have 13 Surfboard decor pikmin.
Beach Mission 6.
The Beach Resort event is over for me, and I will now focus on collecting rare decor at the supermarket (three remaining).

Stage 4-4
Beach event 10. The tropical shirt is in sight.
14 surfboards, need red.
I got my community day badge today. Good nectar harvesting during my walk. Also made progress on my backlog of seedlings including a few giant seedlings. Community days are useful for clearing out the seedling inventory!
Encountered 2 empty giant mushrooms at the start of the walk. And then another giant mushroom spawned later in the day near my house while I was recovering from the walk. This last mushroom was useful since I missed several invitations on my way home.
It is interesting using the overhead view to spot vacant giant mushrooms at nighttime, though nothing within range. I already used up my 3 free battle tickets anyway.
Finally completed the surfboard set during 6-3.
I’m still on 6-3.

Stage 8-2.
Finally got my pineapple float ring, so I can relax and just help out other players and/or battle elemental mushrooms.
I currently have 24 surfboard Pikmin.
Today, with the hatching of the 24th Pikmin, I was able to welcome the second yellow surfboard Pikmin, and my goal was achieved on stage 10-2.
*I am currently on a mission to collect two of each type of Deco Pikmin.
Nice 
. I’m really stingy with my storage space and will be releasing the duplicates to make room for the new decor.
