I ended up purchasing a special mission ticket in order to complete the 4th Anniversary gift collection 
. But then when I got the 2025 purple ornament I my spirits were lifted.
I’m grateful that the snack missions are non-specific and can be done in parallel with the other missions!

Just cleared stage 4 and now on stage 5-4.
I have 13 2025 ornaments pikmin, waiting for purple pikmin.
Regarding 4th Anniversary Snack decor pikumin, I had completed the set on Dec. 2nd.

I’ve been recovering from a cold and have fallen behind in my stage progress since I didn’t have the stamina to walk and plant much. Finally completed some steps and planting to finish stage 4 today and nearly stage 5.
My weekly planting group is doing poorly with lack of participation. Hopefully the group will come together and finish up just under 5000 remaining flowers.

Last week I had to carry the load for my planting group and planted half the flowers. This week I was in a motivated group and we finished the planting by end of Monday.

I had a nice xmas present this morning when my Giant seedling hatched into my missing red 2025 ornament 
It took 24 seedlings before I completed the set. I currently have 25 2025 ornaments.
I regret having spent coins to double my roulette seedling prize twice, beforehand. None of them grew into the red ornament. Next time I’ll only use coins to double battle horns and maybe accelerators prizes, if I remember at the moment.
My distribution of the ornaments seemed pretty good except for the lack of red.
On 12/12 the game started testing US, Germany and Hong Kong mushroom spawning. Here in the US where I’m located, there seems to be a lot more mushrooms in new locations. I haven’t noticed any delay in how long it takes a conquered mushroom to revive because I have not been paying close attention. But there is an abundance of event and non-event mushrooms. The giant mushrooms and elemental mushrooms still seem sparse, but maybe a tiny bit more than before. It is still competitive to join the giant mushrooms.
Before the 12th, I was in range of 4 mushrooms. Now I am in range of 6 mushrooms. And other areas I frequent also have a few more mushrooms, so the number of battle sites has increased quite a bit. Also am seeing a lot of new postcards.
I cleared stage 10 of the event challenge yesterday, but I didn’t get any purple Pikmin, so I used coins to purchase the event premium pass and complete the 2025 Ornament decor pimin.
On Stage 11-1 and I have 26 2025 Ornament pikmin.

However, I’m not disappointed.
These kinds of things happen in this game, and I’ve saved up enough in-game coins for that.
Plus, in 2024 I used coins on Spring Seal decor Pikmin and Mahjong decor Pikmin, but this is the only time this year. I think I did pretty well this year.
Even after purchasing the Premium Pass, I still have over 31,000 coins, so I’m fine.
