I have only nine 4th anniversary pikmin. However I managed to collect all of the regular ice roadside pikmin and can now start on the special coin pikmin. Not sure if I’m lucky or this is to be expected.

Anniversary mission 12.
13 4th Anniversary pikmin, need yellow, white, and pink.
Made some progress on the rare coins too.
On Stage 8-3, I’ve just completed the set of 4th Anniversary decor pikmin.
I have 23 4th Anniversary decor pikmin now.
I managed to collect all colors twice by the 22nd Pikmin in my 4th anniversary event. Guess I had pretty good luck?
The stage was 10-3, but since there were three unhatched seeds, I believe the game would have ended a bit earlier if I’d hatched them all.
Congrats @lavista1960 & @pasorin ! I’m so jealous! But I’m only on 6-2. I need 2 more types. It seems like the introduction of ice has made completing the collections more difficult.
4th anniversary status:
Just under 9000 steps to go but I have a very busy week coming up. Starting hard mission 4. I’ve used up several saved planting accelerators to reach this far. I need to remember to save them up for this annual event. I remember thinking a several weeks ago that I had so many that I might as well use one.
I finally found an ice restaurant pikmin. Can refocus on special coins.
I am well over stage 8 and not getting the black one, I have all the others 3 or 4 times. This way it takes the fun out of playing this game.
Good luck @DasTarD ! I hope you get the black anniversary pikmin soon! I’m now trying to get the pink anniversary pikmin at stage 7-4.
I used all my remaining planting accelerators in order to get the 4th anniversary hard planting challenges out of the way so I could resume the event stages. Getting close to the deadline!
Too many concurrent planting challenges!
I am on stage 10-2. I have plucked over 25 4th Anniversary Pikmin, and I still have yet to pluck a winged one. I thought I was coming to the message boards to find that everyone was having this problem and that maybe there was a bug. Turns out I am just having frustratingly bad luck! 
There’s a perception that the random number generator used in Pikmin Bloom has “significant bias.” My assessment is that this bias extends beyond just Pikmin colors—it also affects white flower variations.
Therefore, I believe revisiting the random number algorithm could effectively address many of the users’ complaints.
Well here I am, near the end of the day, at the end of the event. I finished stage 8-1, but out of 24 anniversary pikmin, I never got the winged pikmin. I’ll probably spend my saved up coins to complete the set. 
I reviewed my posts from the 3rd anniversary, and I was able to complete last year’s set during stage 7. But I think with the introduction of the ice pikmin the odds are a bit worse. The concurrent hard anniversary planting challenges also made it difficult to advance thru the stages since I really wanted the obnoxious gold star sunglasses. At least I managed to earn the pair.
Time to move on to the next event
