I wasn’t really planning on taking on this challenge, but luckily I had gathered the necessary nectar for planting flowers, so I went ahead and played it. It turned out to be surprisingly easy.
Same here I finished in day two. Used 7 accelerators and about 20.000 steps 
last year’s hard event was a little harder IMO and I even bought a flower pack.. not this year though!

I was keeping close track on my inventory to ensure I had enough petals and nectar saved from previous events and the current event. And when I’m lucky enough to win a accelerator or mushroom ticket from the roulette I buy the extra because it is at a discount. I did an extra weekly planting challenge because one challenge ended after just two days and I have a lot of extra tickets saved up
I knew had a really busy schedule this week and might not be able to walk everyday, so that was my reason for urgency, rather than taking it a little easier.
