Does Nobody Play in my Area?!

Hi everyone! I’m currently in the US, and it seems like the game is super popular in Japan, but around here it’s like a ghost town. I know one of my neighbors plays Bloom, but I can’t seem to find anyone else who’s flower planting and mushroom battling at my local supermarkets and etc.

Can anybody relate, or is it just me?

You can join weekly challenges to make friends that way. I don’t see people in my area either, but if you do you can change your display name to your friend code and you might get friend requests that way if you join a mushroom with others.

Hi @LiddleMunky83 thanks for responding! Putting my friend code as my display anme is smart. Thanks

Not all areas in Japan are in vogue, and some people complain that there are not enough big flowers in some areas.
Mushrooms and Big Flowers are registered by avid players of NIANTIC’s other games (Ingress and PokeGo), so the fact that they are there means that there is a potential player population. One tactic would be to draw them into the world of Pikmin Bloom.

As for the mushrooms, you just need to gather a lot of strong friends. Now that we have the megaphone system, we can call them and they will be able to conquer the mushrooms with their strong ranks.
In my case, I have friends from Aomori Prefecture, famous for its “very tasty tunas,” but even after an hour has passed since their megaphone notification arrived, it is rare to have all five of us together. However, if I enter and use more megaphones (except for event mushrooms), we will have a 4-star force.

Thanks for responding, @pasorin . I always try to friend every person I meet in weekly challenges because most of them are pretty helpful for mushroom battles. Your advice means a lot to me, thanks!

Use this! ^^

Just go to the little friends button on top of tour screen and click add friends. If you cant find anybody try going on challenges or on the friend code exchange mega-thread on reddit!

I feel the same! Im in Ohio, US and I have come across a handful of people (I don’t know them personally) when battling mushrooms, but its rare. Most of my friends are from Japan or other areas in the US. I started sending friend requests to people I was grouped with while completing the weekly challenges… I’m going to check out that page mentined in the replies!

I just posted this same issue in my current area as well, I’m glad I found your post, I thought it was just me I’m in a section of Riverdale GA, and man, since I’ve moved I’ve gone from abundance to famine on this game it’s crazy. You are not alone, I am here with you,
