From my recent trip to Washington DC. It was amusing because there were a lot of battles going on at the Whitehouse as well as other countries’ embassies.

And the staircase in this postcard was used in a scene from the classic horror movie, The Exorcist. There is a plaque at the bottom of the stairs commemorating its notoriety. This was not a battle site.

I like close-ups.

I sent two pikmin on a mission to pickup a seedling and they brought this postcard back. I guess the other non-pictured pikmin took the photo :grinning:

Just came back from Japan. Mushroom battles are extremely difficult to enter for free. Here are some nice postcards from the airport. I don’t remember if I had to use a battle ticket for this Giant Mushroom

And this Nintendo Welcome center postcard was a nice surprise from an errand

There’s a special place in my heart for parakeets so I was compelled to spend a battle ticket for this mushroom. I’m not sure why the photographer submitted a picture taken from the rear instead of the front. This is a sculpture of parakeet perch toys. The ball at the bottom acts as a counterweight that keeps the bird upright and it swings to and fro when the bird taps on the toy. I saw the sculpture at night and it is lit up with small lights and is enchanting. I wanted to leave some sprays of millet as an offering :grinning_face_with_smiling_eyes:

Oh! You visited Japan!! How did you feel about Japan?

I thoroughly enjoyed my visit, except for heat and humidity. I was sweating buckets, even with my uv umbrella and wet neckerchief. I hope to someday visit when it is not summer. I can see why you worry about the phone overheating over there. I’m a bit suspicious that the seemingly higher density of Pikmin points of interest over there is making the phone work harder, tracking and rendering the spots and the flower planting density. Because, even when inside air-conditioned buildings, I felt like my phone was running warmer than normal.
