I find that most of the time when selecting pikmin for expeditions I use my new pikmin that need friendship to get to four hearts. Using the sort by friendship level is nice but as decor-less pikmin get more hearts it becomes a bit tedious scrolling through my collection to find them each time. I think that a decor-less sorting option would help this problem while making it easier to use decor-less pikmin for their respective niches instead of having to switch sorting types to find out how many winged and purples you have available decor-less.
I always favorite Pikmin I want to get to 4 star and then sort by favorite for expeditions. Another option is to can use the ! to exclude. So if you enter !decor your decor Pikmin will be filtered out.
Another helpful filter is asterisk* for number of hearts (disregard forced italics because of my use of asterisk). If you use “3* !decor” you will see 3 heart Pikmin without decor. You can even do a range 0-3*.
