My daughter and I share a single Nintendo Switch. I was planning to buy one copy of Pikmin 4 for Christmas. Are my daughter and I able to play P4 using two separate profiles and then bring the decor Pikmin we find on our individual profiles into our respective Pikmin Bloom accounts or do we need to purchase two separate copies of the P4? Or do we need to buy a second Switch in addition to the second copy of the software?
You only need one copy of the game and one system. You can each play your own game on your own account to collect decor Pikmin for Pikmin Bloom as long as they’re each linked to a Nintendo account. Please be advised you have to unlock all levels and find all Pikmin types to find all of the decor. It’s a bit of a grind, but a really great game! Oh you can also play the free demo before Christmas. You can get a start, find some decor and earn rewards if you have not already!
