This is my 2nd year of trying to complete this set of decor Pikmin. Last year, I was able to collect what is in the photo below, but after that I just kept getting the same ones over and over again.
This year, I’ve grown 17 seedlings so far, yet every one of the have been duplicates of the ones grown a year ago. Is anyone else having this issue? I’m personally getting extremely frustrated of growing the same 13 over and over again, when there are 40 others in the deck. I have 3 seedlings waiting to grow, but am waiting to plant them.
Yes, this is right. Unfortunately for this month they are only offering clubs and joker. Like @WilliamL76 said, the middle rows will likely be released for future events. I’m sure at the same time they’ll make diamond suit available again. They will at least eventually make them available again, I’m sure. In a way it’s generous to those, like you and me, that are only missing one. Our chances of getting the one we need is greater. It also makes sense in another way, because club suit and joker were released last year, so they’re being consistent.
I wish they would have done something to the seedling names to indicate this though.
I had to scroll pretty far on the blog post to confirm what you said, and I started the game in May of last year so I didn’t remember if only certain suites of the cards were available.
So, I just wasted my choice options getting a lot of seedlings I didn’t need, which doesn’t feel great when the blue flower struggle is always real.
I feel bad for someone last year. They bought a pot for a missing diamond suit, but since that wasn’t offered they basically bought it for a duplicate. I know it’s frustrating for new players that want to collect past decor, but the system is pretty good now that it lets you pick your reward instead of randomly granting you something you don’t need or want. They released Nintendo Consoles '80-'95 and clubs suit and joker last year in May. It will probably feel like you didn’t get a chance to get something new any time they released two different decor for the month of the previous year. I also hear you @justalittlecha, those flower petals seem like a nice reward. I don’t think they offer petals that are helpful for the current challenges though so I’m sure you didn’t really miss out on much.
