Hello. As an active user of Pikmin Bloom, I am at a point where I can no longer keep track of which postcards I have sent to my friends. Therefore, I created a Niantic ID just to make this suggestion for an improvement. Just as we can see how many of the same postcards we have on our end, I think it would be very helpful to receive an alert if the recipient already has the postcard we are about to send, such as “The [recipient] already has this postcard” or “You have already sent this postcard.”
I hope it wouldn’t be too much of a hassle to add this feature, given that they already have access to each user’s database of postcards currently owned. While it may add some burden on the recipient’s part to have to delete the same postcard again if they have already done so previously, at least the sender would not have to resend it if the recipient keeps them.
