Yesterday, this Canada goose was blocking the path. Perhaps it has a nest nearby?
I gave it wide clearance when I walked around it. It didn’t budge.

While walking on a popular trail I encountered this coyote rolling around on the ground. I took this pic while he was scratching himself without caring that I was there. It made me nervous but then I saw other people approaching from both directions and felt relieved.

Yesterday, I saw a few deer. Here is a cute spotted fawn. It was with its sibling and mother who were just outside of the picture.
I haven’t noticed this thread before! Since I live in the middle of a city I don’t see very much wildlife but sometimes I come across some. I can’t really say what types but some kind of seagull hatchlings maybe? And a crane perhaps? 
Ok Google image search tells me it’s probably gull nestlings and a Great Blue Heron (Ardea herodias)..

I haven’t seen young herons before, how cute. There are a lot of waterfowl by one of the trails I occasionally walk, but I guess many of them, especially the long legged types like egrets and such, don’t breed in the area. I usually see nestlings for Canada geese, mallards, coots, and pelicans (from a distance).

During a quick afternoon walk today: This family was crossing the highway overpass using the bicycle lane. At least they finished crossing before peak evening traffic started!

Some cyclist had to go around them. Fortunately they didn’t encounter oncoming traffic either.
