Cannot receive postcards from expeditions or friends

As of new version 110.1 for Android (it looks as this is the cause), I can’t pick up a piece of fruit. Well, actually the postcard that comes with it.
I’ve restarted the app, restarted my phone, cleared cache, cleared app data, …
I have lots of postcard room left.

I’ve recorded my screen to show this:

Any ideas on how to fix this?

UPDATE: a friend just sent me a postcard. I also couldn’t receive that postcard. Restarting the app still showed the Pikmin with the postcard.
So, it looks like the bug has to do with receiving postcards.

UPDATE 2: this is what it looks like (max. zoomed out and scrolled to top) after trying to receive the fruit postcard and 3 friend postcards:

My phone is a Google Pixel 8 running GrapheneOS.

I am also experiencing this issue, and I am also running GrapheneOS on a Pixel 7a. I’ve tried clearing my cache and making sure the game is up to date.

I have similar issue. Pikmins came with a seedling and a postcard that I cannot receive. Now all other expeditions are blocked and I cannot receive anything.
I have already reported it throufh the app.

I have this issue too. Because of it I can’t collect items from mushrooms and it’s really frustrating!

I have this problem as well for quite a few days. I’ve done personal troubleshooting and contacted support but they stopped trying to help me a couple days ago. All of my expeditions are backed up and I’ve run out of Pikmin. I have my Pikmin storage maxed out for free to play. This is crazy! Game breaking bug.

Same here. This is really frustrating. I’ve submitted feedback and am still waiting for a response and assistance from Niantic.

Device & OS: iPhone 16 Pro / iOS 18.2.1

I have already attempted the following troubleshooting steps, but nothing works:

  1. Force closing and reopening the app
  2. Restarting my phone
  3. Ensuring Pikmin Bloom is updated to the latest version
  4. Deleting Pikmin Bloom and reinstalling it from the App Store

I have raised an issue in the game with the reply that there is nothing wrong, support didn’t even read my problem correctly.

If you’re stuck, you’re out of luck. For now Niantic just doesn’t seem to care.

Same problem here. not able to receive postcards from expeditions. Please help me solve this problem.

I have attempted all the steps user @wine4cheese did, and nothing has changed here, too.

looking forward to play pikmin bloom again😭

Even after the upgrade to 111.* I cannot receive pickup postcards.

I also just updated the app and the postcard is still stuck floating in the air.

After the update to 111 version I was able to get the stuck postcard, but then pickmins came back from the blmushroom battle and now another one is stuck with the postcard… This is so frustrating…

For those of us using Graphene, the above GitHub link references back to this article (Niantic's Pikmin Bloom 110.1 is partially softlocked on Graphene OS · Issue #4663 · GrapheneOS/os-issue-tracker · GitHub), stating that the issue may be the Play Integrity API checks. Graphene recommends that app developers use Android’s hardware attestation API instead of the Google Play version as a way to maintain security while still remaining compatible with more devices (see Attestation compatibility guide | Articles | GrapheneOS). I don’t know if everyone having this problem is running GrapheneOS or if it is affecting all OS equally but this may be a good place to start.

Niantic PLEASE fix this ASAP because it’s been almost a month since I’ve been able to play and it is really frustrating.
