I have this problem since a month ago more or less, when i tap to get rewards like nectar from pikmin/expeditions the animation doesnt claim, i cant even claim the poscards and the event rewards are working either.
I contacted the support ingame and they only said “too bad, use another device” and “be sure ur device has more than 4gb of RAM”
The developers (programmers) of this game have created a low-performance, poorly written program that requires a significant amount of hardware resources.
If you are using an Android device, I recommend using a mobile phone with at least 4GB of RAM, and preferably 8GB or more.
The official help page states that 2GB or more of RAM is required, but Niantic should immediately change this to 4GB or more.
My phone has 8GB of RAM, it runs fine, the problem isnt bad frame rate, is it that isnt registering when i try to pluck seedlings/grab postcards or doesnt play the animations for giving/taking nectar
To play this game smoothly, you need not only RAM capacity but also top-class SoC (CPU and GPU) performance. For Android, you’ll need a mobile phone with a flagship SoC such as the Snapdragon 8 series or Demencity 9000 series. Even the latest Google Pixel models have low-spec SoCs, so they’re not suitable.
If my LG G6 from 10 YEARS AGO can play the game correctly, my Redmi 13 from 2 YEARS AGO, should be able to play it correctly.
I dont mean smooth, i mean that all the features as plucking seeds or rewards arent working.
