Does Scopely only cares about revenue from Asia and tacitly allows GPS spoofing as rumored online?

Friends and I used to really love “Pikmin Bloom,” but for the past two months, it’s always been the same "players who aren’t actually there in person " coming during our sleeping hours to battle/occupy mushrooms with very low power and plant flowers “wildly” in our city. Reporting them over and over again has been useless. We hate to join the mushroom battles of the “spoofers,” but that also means we hardly have any mushrooms left to battle…

Isn’t Pikmin Bloom supposed to be a game that makes people happy and relaxed? But now every time I start the game, the map of my city I see just makes me irritated. Is it really true, as rumored online, that Scopely only cares about revenue from Asia and tacitly allows GPS spoofing and ignores players from other regions who spend time taking screenshots and filing reports? Or is Scopely indirectly encouraging us to start using GPS spoofing tools as well?
