When I receive a postcard from another player the gaming tip pops up and the screen freezes. I can’t close the tip and none of the buttons work. The only way to close the pop up window is to close the game and open it again. But it happens every time I receive a postcard from another player.

I have had the exact same problem, ever since I started the game three weeks ago. I actually stopped sending postcards because of it.
In the Facebook group, many people reported the same issue.

I posted a reply 3 days ago in another thread addressing the same issue. It’s still doing it. Accepting postcards is rendering me unable to play properly.
