Hello, this is to report performance issues on the App using Android.
I’m using a pixel pro 7, phone version and app fully up to date. I’ve also done a full re-install and also cleared cache, but have progressively had worse and worse performance issues playing the game over the span of several months.
The issue affects every aspect of the game. Any new page being opened, wether it’s friends list, postcards, pikmin feeding tab, or mushroom joining all takes up to several minutes to load with frequent freezing/crashing that require an app restart. When I first started playing a few months ago the game was incredibly responsive, now with each passing week it’s taking longer and longer to load anything. Most of the time it takes several minutes for pikmin to even load on the feeding tab. Trying to feed them practically freezes the entire app.
The issue also happens on wifi and with 5G signal, so it is not a signal issue. Likewise when Pikmin Bloom lags I can play other games such as Monster Hunter Now with zero performance issues or lag. Also non-game apps such as chrome browser load pages instantly with no lag.
I suspect it could be due to the increase in items I have acquired over time, but if this is the case it’s effectively limiting me from playing the game further. I have about 650 pikmin and I’m sure the limit is way higher.
Really curious if others are experiencing a similar issue.
I’m using Pixel 8 pro and meet the same issue. I guess the processor make the game so laggy, due to its bad GPU. This game should rely on massive graphic drawing ability.
If anyone use snapdragon CPU phone to play it, plz let me know if it is better

Same here! I’m using a pixel 8 pro just like another user that commented and I’m experiencing everything mentioned as well and it’s been going on for months progressively getting worse. I’ve tried everything including reaching out to support but so far I haven’t had any improvements it’s very sad, I love pikmin bloom so much and it’s not stopping me from playing but the 1 frame a second gets very very annoying
This is !@#$% ridicious.
Latency is everywere when loading all assets
Even worse when theres active fighting mushrooms clashing with loading progress
Please fix all these loading preformance issues
Video for reference
PS plz stop shoving postcards up my throat, i maxxed & prefer auto discard like it was before
And also give us auto based on speed back! Less tap to pick pink while it still loading up things
If you look at my account actions, you noticed i do explirations etc less than i used to due to these issues.
I have a Pixel 6a and was having performance problems with graphics taking progressively longer to render. Then I checked my app storage and it was taking over 6 GB of user data device storage!
Since I have my app linked to my Nintendo account, I prayed that my game data is safely backed up to the cloud and deleted the user data storage a day ago.
And then the app requires all the permissions to be regranted again. I’m not sure what other surprises I’ll encounter, hopefully nothing unpleasant.
Currently the app user data is now 581MB and cache is 23MB.
The game runs better now, but I had to login and link my accounts again. Overall clearing the data was still a scary ordeal for me. And you shouldn’t do it without doing the research first.
I’m on a Pixel 8, and android performance has gone from average for a mobile game to nearly unplayable over the past couple of years. When I upgraded from a Pixel 6 last year, I remember hoping that it performance would get better, but I saw no major improvement. I have also seen a major decline in the past month or so.
My current workaround is to use an old iphone SE from 2020, which performs much better than my flagship android phone from last year. I don’t like carrying two phones though, so instead I’ve just been playing a lot less
Similar to KippyPippy, I had 5.6GB of user data on the device which I wiped last night. It seems like things might be a bit faster in some cases, but there was no improvement in my biggest points of slowdown (feeding pikmin nectar, switching out my party, and sending pikmin on expeditions).
I am getting reasonably stable operation with the Xiaomi POCO X3 (but a little spoiled in response and smoothness), but frequent crashes on the iPhone SE2, and it is for sub-use.
For me, “at least one hour of stable flower planting” is desired. My current iPhone SE2 does not reach that level.
