I made a walk with my wife and we both planting White petunia. Walking through a big flower zone and Info say 89 flower still needed. Walking same way back after shopping, me still planting White petunia, my wife White flowers, big flower becomes a Red petunia. The big flower Was empty before and bevor we Walking by the second time still 89 left so no one else was planting.
Can you please fix this, or it becomes rally difficult to get more White petunia
I’m pretty sure they will say that’s not a bug. Sorry, i know it’s so frustrating to not be able to get nectar you need. There are others that have had this issue previously and support always says it’s not a bug. You would think white flowers for the month would be the easiest to get, but I think white big flowers are the hardest to bloom because white petals can bloom into any color.
Even if you were to plant all 300 flowers as a specific rare white variety, there’s a chance those rare white flowers might not bloom at all - that’s the world of Pikmin Bloom.
I refer to this as “mutation,” but the probability is actually much higher than real-world mutations. In the case of petunias, I’d estimate around 20-30%?
In other words, about 70-80% of the flowers will “develop color.” This means “obtaining pure white flowers is difficult,” and furthermore, the mutation rate varies by flower type - petunias have a slightly higher mutation rate, making them particularly challenging (in my past experience, spider lilies were the worst offenders).
By the way, if you plant 160 of the desired rare flower, you’ll almost certainly get that rare bloom, and if you have about 90 of a specific color planted, that color will become the most dominant among the available options (red, yellow, or blue).
Conversely, if you want to grow rare white flowers, you’ll need to plant at least 160 of those rare flowers in total while keeping colored flowers to around 80.
Note that if you want white flower petals, you can hatch Pikmin and immediately return them to the nest to obtain 10 white petals.
